Michael Aamoth is the owner a successful music store in Minneapolis called Midwest Musical Imports. The store specializes in woodwind instruments, and in addition to its expert sales staff has a staff of highly skilled repair technicians. They are members of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians, the largest non-profit international education association dedicated to band instrument repair. Midwest brings all new and used instruments through its repair department in order to make sure they are in proper adjustment and provides follow-up repair for the life of the instrument. MMI has been in business for more than thirty years and specializes in double reed instruments as well as high level instrument rentals.
